Host an ADEPT Class at Your Studio

 

ADEPT travels across North Texas to serve students with disabilities in their community and to help dance studios share dance with everyone.

Pricing


ADEPT knows that studio space is valuable.

We do not charge studios when we use their space for our classes. ADEPT will pay you to rent your space for the time of our lessons, as agreed by both ADEPT and your studio when signing the contract. We will handle tuition and enrollment for our program separately. We want to support the dance community by keeping our program hassle-free and inexpensive for our studio hosts.

In short, we pay you to host a class!

 

Our Curriculum

Adaptive Dance Education and Performance of Texas, LLC (ADEPT) is a mobile program that provides quality dance education to students of all ages, levels, and disabilities.

Our curriculum is…

  • specially designed to integrate students with disabilities in a group class with their peers.

  • help students develop and improve physical, social, mental, and emotional skills through dance practice and performance.

  • specialized for each group of students and works closely with parents and students to develop appropriate goals.

  • based on the belief quality dance education fosters life skills.

  • accommodates each student’s needs and strives to include the social, motor, and instructional goals of all participants.

  • Siblings of current students who have disabilities or just want to try dance

Dance should be for everyone, but not every instructor or studio has the time or experience to fully integrate disabled students into their regular classes. ADEPT offers specialized classes to students that your studio could not typically serve, while renting your studio space. In our program, students with disabilities are given the opportunity to dance alongside their peers in a real studio space. 

Although ADEPT’s classes are primarily for students with disabilities, your current students can also benefit from the program. Your students can be integrated into the classes to learn compassion and understanding for disabled dancers. With ADEPT at your studio, all students, disabled or not, will learn that everyone can connect through dance. 

 

Schedule

Classes may be scheduled to occur weekly, or multiple times a week according to student interest and instructor availability. As you know, the most requested times for classes are afternoon and evenings on weekdays. If you have a slow weekday and need to fill your space, this would be the ideal time for our classes!

Current Availability (subject to change)

  • Monday: between 10:00am and 8:30pm

  • Tuesday: between 10:00am and 5:30pm

  • Wednesday: between 12:30pm and 4:30pm

  • Thursday: between 10:00am and 8:30pm

  • Friday: between 10:00am and 4:30pm

  • Saturday: between 2:30pm and 8:30pm

  • Sunday: between 10:00am and 8:30pm

 

Class Options

Classes will be offered based on interest and skill or age of the students. We offer classes to ages two through adult, to beginning through advanced dancers, and in many styles including:

  • Ballet

  • Jazz

  • Lyrical

  • Tap

  • Creative Movement

  • Improvisation

ADEPT will work together with you to advertise lessons and evaluate which age groups and styles would be best for your area.
